Seattle’s Story ... Murdered dog drives creation of memory plaques for pets.
Discover how to turn those painful feelings of loss that weigh heavily on your heart into manageable, comfortable, even peaceful feelings of love in 60 seconds or less ... or your money back
Read 4 of the top tips you can use right now to memorialize your pet whether your pets has passed away or is on your lap full of life. Don’t let what happened to me happen to you.
It was a cool summer morning, you know the ones I mean … with the air a little crisp and the sun just starting to warm the sky.
I was just pouring my first cup of coffee when my good friend Carl raced up the stairs from the basement with tears streaming down his face. The look of pain and anguish was not nearly as bad as the words he was about to utter…
“John he said, Seattle … he’s dead. Come quick.”
I felt like I’d been hit by 100,000 volts of electricity as I rushed past him on the way down the stairs.
I kept saying, “Where is he? Are you sure?
Through sobs, Carl said, “He’s over there by the fence under the big fir tree.” I was off like a bullet thinking this was just some cruel joke.
As I rounded the corner I could see him lying with his head down. When I finally got close, I could tell there was no more life in his body. His spirit was gone.
I felt like a Mack truck had just hit me. My friend, my partner, my protector was gone.
You can read the rest of Seattle’s Story here.
If you’d like to finally have a way to hold on to your memories feel a warm sense of comfort and take pride in your pet’s memory
Then this might be the most important letter you’ll ever read.
My name is John Bogdanski and this is my sister Jean. I’m an entrepreneur / inventor kind of guy. I’ve got a few US patents and have been involved in the coating industry for over 20 years and Seattle was my dog.
Seattle is the reason this site is up.
I had to do something to ease the pain and do something for Seattle as well. Needless to say that’s where my problem lies and why I developed this site.
Trouble is, there are only a few things to choose from if your serious about memorializing your pet...
- You can get a headstone and bury them on your property.
(always a very nice feeling)
- Take a paw print and keep it on your desk.
(or you can save it in a special place with other memories of your pet)
- Use cremation as an option.
(you get a tin with your pet’s ashes)
- Frame a picture of your pet.
(you can choose how you want to remember your pet with the perfect image)
I tried them all
Now don’t get me wrong, each of these choices are fine and I’m sure there are a few more that are equally as good. I’ve done them all at one point or another with other pets I’ve had and it was all right.
But Seattle was different. They just didn’t seem like they would be as special or bring me the feeling of peace that I was looking for.
I remember burying Sierra (my great Pyrenees) with a nice head stone. Problem is I can only see it when I walk over to that part of the yard and I’m always worrying one of the kids might damage it by accident or some one might steal it.
I even did the paw print thing with Sierra. I liked it. It was certainly a more personal touch. I even had a lock of his hair saved too. It was nice for a while but over time I just put it away in a drawer and over time tended to forget about it. I’m sad just thinking about it.
Than there was Asta. We thought we’d have more peace cremating her and keeping her ashes. It sounded good at the time... but we were really dissatisfied with it once we got her back in a cheap little tin that looked like they bought it at the local dollar store.
She’s up on the mantle now but I have to tell you I always worry about her with all the curious kids running around the house. Even worse. I can only remember what she looked like when she was ill. I’m beginning to forget what she looked like when she was healthy. I hate how that makes me feel.
I even considered framing my Seattle’s picture. Problem was ... I only had one picture left of him and I had to be sure it would be safe.
I’m sure you know what happens to pictures over time. You know what happens to your newspaper if it’s left on the counter for just a few days. You must know how the UV light turns pictures yellow, creates cracks and degrades the images.
It’s a rotten fact of life. Unless your picture is protected from the sun it’s just a matter of time before it rots in the frame.
I couldn’t let that happen. I couldn’t take the chance. After all I only had 1 picture left of Seattle.
But I had to do something. You can see examples of memory plaques here
Grieving for him was tough. I couldn’t get him out of my head. I knew all my choices. But I wasn’t sure they would be enough to make me finally feel comfortable. Seattle was special ... I needed to do something that lived up to his memory and that I didn’t have to worry about. THERE HAD TO BE A WAY.
Over the years of tinkering in my workshop, creating multiple US Patents, I had developed a unique, special process that we used on:

- martial arts protective gear
- helmet cams for high priced TV cameras
- even on products with medical applications.
That’s me in the picture on the left at Madison Square Garden with the helmet cam we created for FOX TV’s American Gladiators.
I suddenly realized this was the solution
It didn’t take long for me to connect the dots and use this process to develop memory plaques.
After all ... I used the same Liquid crystal process on other products that I sell through other web sites like www.web-plaques.com and on Corporate and small business press releases like www.pr-exposure.com I even used a part of the liquid crystal process on martial arts gear I created for Billy Blanks of TaeBo fame, but that’s another story.
All I knew was I had only one picture of my Seattle in the entire world and finally I had a solution to this vexing problem.
I could finally relax. Seattle’s image would finally be safe.
He would look majestic and regal just like I always wanted to remember him. His image would be surrounded by a rich mahogany styled plaque with black trim and a beautiful beveled edge. What’s even better is it’s protected with my trade secret “Liquid Crystal” process and my exclusive lifetime guarantee.
It’s beautiful and I’ve decided I can create the same product for you... So what started as a personal challenge has now turned into a full time job.
I’m sure by now your wondering what makes our plaques different than all the rest ...

Seattle’s picture now hangs on my living room wall overseeing and protecting us still.
This whole process has been a labor of love that has brought me an enormous amount of comfort. I know what it’s like and I’d like to be able to offer you that same comfort and well being that I have when I look up at my baby Seattle.
I did all the hard work, took all the chances and waded through all the risk developing this process. It was tough developing Memory plaques.
The good news is once I gingerly placed Seattle’s Memory Plaque on the wall and finally had a chance to step back a few steps and take a good long look ... the sense of peace, and the smile it brought to my face was priceless.
It seemed like a weight was finally off my shoulders. For the first time it felt like everything was going to be all right.
I’m not sure if it was the picture or if it was my piece of mind knowing that Seattle’s picture was finally safe and protected. All I knew was every time I looked up at him I can feel comfortable he’s finally safe.
I guess I’m not alone in that feeling. Here’s some comments from some memory plaque owners:
|
"If you love animals and have pets... you are well aware of just how much they become part of your family. A pet's passing is a very sad time.
These plaques are a nice tribute to a special friend, to a family member.
They live on in a permanent image especially made to memorialize them. (and by doing so, may help ease your loss.) the people at catanddogplaques.com are dedicated to create an individualized memorial perfect for you.
I think this is a worthwhile product for those of us who truly love our pets even after they are gone." ~Becky, pet owner and Mom to Shelby and Truman Read about Shelby and Truman

“My boy Benjamin was not your ordinary cat. Not by any stretch of the imagination.
He had more attitude than any cat I ever had.
I thought about getting his ashes but it was just to expensive and I really wasn’t to keen on having them in a jar on the shelf. I’ve seen others and it’s just not for me.
Now with my memory plaque... My boy looks like a million dollar baby !” - Amanda Dick www.mybubblebag.com

”Asta my 10 year old rotty was always out by the barn and she was my shadow. She got hit with a new type of lyme disease and died a horrible death.
I don’t ever want to think about her like that again.
Now I have that special picture I took when she was 3 with Penny. My memory plaque has that picture and it’s hanging in the barn. I miss her. But I still feel she’s with me.” - Mary Swan www.equus-rx.com

You can look at memory plaques here
Others may try to duplicate what I created… but don't be fooled.
There is ONLY ONE liquid crystal process available and it's available exclusively through us.
Not all plaques are created equal. Others may offer to sell you something similar at a very cheap price and claim that we are all alike …
Don't believe a word.
If you don’t have liquid crystal, it will be a terrible shame to have your pets image yellowed, tarnished and cheap looking in only a short time under just regular day light.
Why take a chance? You know what happens to a newspaper if it's left out on your desk in the sunshine even for just a few days. It's not a pretty sight.
You might even be thinking about regular or matted picture frames. I took a look and unless I spent $200.00 or more on matting, I wasn’t about to get anything that even came close to the professional look of my memory plaques.
Besides no matter how you framed it ... your picture just wont have that professional 3 dimensional look that separates memory plaques from any other frame option available.
Think about it ... why do you think Doctors, Lawyers, virtually every professional who’s got lots of choices chooses plaques over frames?
One thing my Dad always told me, "Quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten …"
This fact is especially true when
it comes to items for your baby.
Thanks to Liquid Crystal you get a lifetime guarantee against the ravages of the sun and the harsh blemishes that can almost magically appear on all the other plaques. Liquid crystal … it's the best insurance you can have.
